About the Exam:

For the filling of Grade 3 and other cadre posts in the state of Tamil Nadu, Government has released a huge Notification in the month of June 2019. It started receiving Applications from the candidates all over the state through online mode and this is continuing. This applying date started on 14th June 2019. For all the 6941 vacancies in the authority, Lakhs of aspirants are expected to give their exams.

All the vacancies released under the TNPSC Group 4 Notification are SSLC based and 2 posts require technical knowledge also. The posts that are included in SSLC eligibility are like Junior Assistant, VAO, Field Surveyor, Draftsmen, Bill Collector Grade 1. The other posts which are with the eligibility of Technical and SSLC are Typist and Steno Typist. Major of the vacancies are from Junior Assistant posts.

About Group 4/iv Hall ticket:

The Interesting fact that everyone needs to keep in view is that the selection of recruitment will be only dependent upon the marks scored in the TNPSC Group 4 written test which will be conducted on 1st September 2019. So in order to give the exam and get the result, candidates, whoever has applied need to get the proof of their application which is called “Hall Ticket”. TNPSC will release the TNPSC Group 4 Hall tickets 2019 on the official site of TNPSC. As the exam date is on 01-09-2019, candidates can expect the Hall Tickets download from 20th August 2019. This date is tentative and the final date will be soon updated.

Candidates will not be allowed into the TNPSC VAO examination hall without the Hall ticket print out. Exam Pattern:

TNPSC has prepared the exam pattern with 3 different sections in the written test which will be conducted for the whole 3 hours. These 3 sections include General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, General English/ General Tamil. Totally 200 Questions will be asked in which each of the questions carried 1.5 marks. 1) Who will be selected to the posts if the Reserved seats do not get the qualified candidates of the same reservation?

Answer: If there are no qualified women candidates for selection of the vacancies reserved, then male candidates from different communal categories will be filled in those vacancies.
